Loved my '90 Chamonix but drove it too hard and killed the engine a few years back.
Recently purchased a '96 SpaceGear and love the added power (not a fan of the steering wheel position and limited turning radius compared the Chamonix, but I'll take the engine placement!).

Glad to hear that your "transition" from L300 to L400 has been a happy one! I too am in the process of acquiring my first L400 (also with the help of Mardy), and when it arrives I'm looking forward to comparing it to my (former) L300! Cheers,
