Hi.
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. after having my combination switch replaced on my l300 about 2 months ago (It caused no dash lights or brake lights)
Today when i turned it on:
No Dash Lights
No Head lights
No Brake Lights
No Hazard Lights
No Room Lights
No Clock
electirc windows and indicator lights still work -wierd?!?!
checked all the fuses and nothing is blown. Combi switch feels a bit wierd to turn on (Maybe im just dreaming it)
is there anything else worth checking?
what would be your first call. replace combi switch and see after that?
any help appreciated!!!!!!

I put my two bits on dirt.
I've noticed that there are two usual suspects: Either something is worn out, like bushings or rubber things in general ~ or dirt. In the case of electrical, such as the combo switch, it's dirt and then something arcs because the dirt provides a path.

hi all,
the big clue that is was NOT the combo switch is the clock ... not part of the combo.
then the next clue is that all these things are a geographical quadrant of the vehicle ie front rightish, so since there are 4 wires on the fusible link which lives above your battery, each wire covers a quadrant of the L300 geographically-ish. note the window winder is on the left side of the driver, so that again points to leftish quadrant.
also the sudden problem usually indicates fusible link, versus combo which dies slowly and gives you weirdness for a while (if you just listen and watch your L300 as it tries to communicate with you).
cheers christine.
