Nasty dent

It was a nasty dent on the back hatch. I managed to get most of it out. But now I'm left with small ripples and I can't seem to get in there and make it nice. I tried posting pictures, but I am having trouble with the file size (because I am on my iPhone?). Has anyone got any tips on either body work or picture posting?

There's a good feeling to be had doing the bodywork yourself though. Not too hard to smooth with Bondo and a longboard, and easy enough to get paint made to match. The biggest issue really is that your hatch paint will look.so much newer than anything else, so them you feel compelled to paint the whole thing. When I ever sell mine I'll shoot a new paint job and it'll look like new again.

shooting paint is so messy...here is my last paint job....tremclad + foam rollers...
(funny note on the windshield only available from 1 company in the USA (who gets them from India) and it shipped and imported in to Canada cost hundreds less than dealers sale L400 windshield for???)

(Moderators please fix the site so larger images can be loaded (even if the posting auto sizes them) your settings are so small you actually have to edit them to make them that small (windows auto sizer is bigger)....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)

Brush and roller and tremclad can work -I've done it too-but to get a really nice finish means a lot of wet sanding and elbow grease.
