hey guys, I have a 92 l300, and its been a blast of a Van to drive around. Lately I have noticed that 1,2 and 3rd gear seam loose when shift into them, and once and a while it "jams" up a tad and I have to try again to get into gear. When I was crawling around under my van trying to find out why its doing that, I did notice a lot of play in one o the linkages. so I guess my question is this. Do I need a new linkage ? or is there a bushing that I can install to stem some of the slop ?
thanks in a advance guys,
Phill

I would recommend getting to Glen at Coombs Country Autos, asap. He knows the manual delica transmission, which are quite rare, so you won't get many replies from others on this forum. As they are rare, getting parts can be difficult, so don't let it get to a catastophe stage.
If you are determined to do it yourself, PM me your real email and I can send a large info file.
Cheers Christine.

Hey thanks for the reply. I ended up talking to a few old timer mechanics, they recommended until I can get the proper part I could make do with some rubber gromets which I modified to fit the linkage arms and what not . Which has worked for the time being. I will be heading down to CC Autos in the next week or so, need to pick up thermostat and a new oil filter so I will hopefully add those gromets to the mix.
thank you again for the reply.
