Power window switch help

Hey folks! Started having some issues with my drivers side window, was stuttering and moving slowly until it finally stopped the other day. L300 91 Super Exceed
Took the door panel off and removed the motor, cleaned the switch and lo and behold the driver side power window was working again like a charm!
Unfortunately for me, Murphy is a great big fan of mine, and in removing and cleaning the switch I somehow lost the small switch connector in the passenger side switch. Long story short I managed to find the missing piece (but it had been flattened having been run over by a car) and attempted to bend it to match the other connector.
Tried the switch back in the deli and felt the wiring get hot, and turned off the power. found the fusible link was burnt out, which I will need to replace.
Should i even attempt to try and shape the bent piece? Or is it something I could get at a local auto parts store?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Cheers
