Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hello Calgary Delica owners. I am picking up my 97 L400 Super exceed in Calgary this weekend, June 1st&2nd. I was hoping that any Delica owners in Calgary would be free for a meet? This is my first JDM and would love the opportunity to check out other vans and see what's what. Short notice I know. GTI_speed mentioned interest. I am not too familiar with Calgary so any suggestions on a good meeting spot would be welcome.

Where in Calgary is the Deli being picked up?

I haven't looked in on where were going to stay yet, I'll have a dog with me so somewhere that accommodates dogs, or she'l be spending the night in the Delica. But the van will be picked up in the Southwest and ill Be visiting friends in the SE. Maybe somewhere where we can grab a coffee.

I'm pretty much pooched until about 2pm on the 1st. I'm pretty good before 2 on the 2nd.

Idealy I would like to meet at an off leash dog park parking lot. I will do some research on where an off leash park is located and I will be there both days for a couple of hours at least. If anyone here knows of one let me know. Im Thinking Nose Hill Park if that works for everyone.

Much of Nosehill is an on-leash park due to the variety of wildlife in the area. The top plateau is the only off leash area as I recall. Bit there is a place not far from from Deerfoot Trail in the Harvest Hills area just south of of a T&T Market and luckily a Tim's as well....and it is off-leash.

That looks like a great spot. I expect I will have Delica plated Between 1and 2 pm on Saturday. I can send oust a message when done with that and could meet up then and I will probably hit the park on Sunday before heading back to Edmonton.

Wow, my jaw literaly dropped when i pulled up and saw my van for the 1st time. I had never seen an L400 in person before. I have to admit i was worried that it was too mini van like. All worries are gone! It looks bad a$s! I left wife and dog at park Big bird suggested and i went to finalize and plate the Van. But i am open to a meet up tomorrow if anyone wants to check out the gen 2 super exceed

I don't have a ton of time and it's supposed to pour with rain, but let us know where you'll be and we'll see if we can make it!

Ya I got drenched when I took the Pooch out to Southland park this morning. I think it's Brunch, then back to Edmonton for us. Hopefully we can have an Alberta Meet sometime this summer.

Drat. I just logged in for the first time in a couple of weeks. And I was free last weekend. Next time you are in Calgary.
