A Trip Down The West Coast (Photo Link Now Added)

Hi,
My L400 and I just returned from a trip down the coastal route to San Francisco. We then headed East over to Reno and back up through the interior of California, Oregon and Washington. In all, I covered almost 4200 kms without so much as a hiccup. Fuel mileage averaged 11 litres/100 km and the best I recorded was 9.83 litres/100 km while travelling along at 90 km/h through Oregon. It was my first trip with my Delica and look forward to many more! It certainly turned heads on my trip and was the catalyst for many conversations with the locals along the way. I even noticed someone video recording it while driving down the highway at one point!
Thanks to all the members on this site for all the information that is posted regarding these vehicles. I was able to make a confident and well informed decision when I decided to buy my Delica.
