Good morning.
All the lights that get turned on via turning the headlight knob are not working. Headlights work fortunately, but no dash or rear lights. Any ideas?
Cheers

Fuses?
Or perhaps the combo switch is dead/dieing. There's a post here somewhere about fixing it.

Fuses seem fine. I suppose I will have to poke around the search a bit.
Thanks for the reply.

Look for burnt out fusible links or see if you have a burnt connector in the battery compartment. There are a few threads on this subject.
Regarding fixing the combo switch, the post is in "Body Electric" in the L300 Dedicated Category Reference Forum.

I had the exact same issue. I took the combination switch apart, it was full of crud, that was the issue. I used the the step by step on here to fix it, i think it was Falco's? My combination switch felt a bit "crunchy" before i fixed it too. Take it apart, clean it, it will work....

Right on! That is what caused my switch to fuse together ~ crap in the switch.

I would still look in the battery bay first in this case. I had a situation where my running lights (the coloured ones), instrument cluster, horn, stereo &c., wouldn't go on. However the headlamps and brake lamps still did work.
In both cases, I must point out, Jay of the TardiDeli was there. In the case when my running lights, horn & stereo went out, Jay & Christine happened to be in the neighbourhood and between the two of them, had systematically deducted the mysterious problem in about fifteen minutes. It was a fried cream coloured plastic connector and was like watching poetry in motion. In the case of the combo switch, I had much to do with the process but it took place at the TardisMotel and Jay was coaching me along until two in the morning when we crossed our fingers and turned the switch. If you haven't sorted it out before too long ~ I'd ask Jay for his opinion, the man is talented at sussing out electrickary.
