After much research between the L300 and L400, I ended up going with the 400 due to the more advanced drivetrain (engine) and also coming across this low low mileage, super clean example. I have to admit, I am partial to the L300 look, but then driving home and punching it to 120Kph uphill over the Malahat put some of my reservations aside

Looking forward to connecting with folks who have wvo experience locally and also looking for mod ideas for camping/storage.
