Hi guys,

I've got a 96 pajero SWB (3 door) that already has electronic/actuated locks. Example....I unlock the driver side door and it unlocks all the doors.

I want to get a keyless system so since they are already electronic can I just buy something like this that I can tie into the system to allow me to use keyless? I'd really like keyless because my locks tend to freeze up a lot out here in Manitoba and it's a real pain in the ass to get into my car sometimes.

Oh and if you know anywhere I could get a replacement outside rear door handle please let me know because it snapped one day when it was super cold outside and now I have to open the b ack door from inside lol.

I installed an aftermarket alarm in my 94 SWB for the main purpose of Keyless entry. To my surprise, the central locking system is very easy to integrate with. The first picture is the connector from the underside looking up, it's the one on the right. At the connector, BLACK/RED is lock, BLUE/WHITE is unlock. They are both negative trigger, which is standard for keyless entry kits. It will unlock and lock all doors including the trunk. The door lock module is located under the steering column, infront of the fusebox. Easiest way is to remove the panel beneath the column, it's just 4 philips screws, and you can remove the speaker as well to get a better view. The second picture shows what it looks like with the panel and speaker removed. Again it's the one on the right. The kit you've shown on ebay will work. All you would need to hook up is GROUND, 12v, and Ignition, as well as the unlock and lock wires. I don't remember the wire colors for power and ground, and everything was taped up nicely so I couldn't see. Best just to use a multi-meter or test light to check at the ignition harness. If you've installed any sort of car electronics the whole job should take you about 30 mins.
