You doing a parts compatibility cross reference?

I went into Finning this past friday and did a physical check on the oil and fuel filters used on the 308D 4M40 engine. These 2 filters don't match the stuff I have for my L400.

Yah they did not have a similar filter although I do have a Donaldson number but have not checked it out... I was more curious which cat used it and was wondering if they could shed some light on stuff

Heres the Finning p/n for the Caterpillar 308D filters if you were inclined to cross reference the Donaldson number.....keep in mind these numbers are no-good for the Delicas.

FUEL FILTER 2339856 PRICE 22.00 OIL FILTER 1R0714 PRICE 17.05.

In my previous job, I spent about $500k/yr with Toromont (CAT east of Winnipeg). My experience with the 307 parts cross reference is that they didn't stock any parts for it in North America. Even little things like the bus bar needed to be flown in from europe. Also, prices were not that great.

You are way better off on ebay.co.uk if you're looking for deals.
