Kinugawa Turbo (5 Bolt) TD04L

I bought this turbo and by the time I received it I found another solution for my turbo problem, I kept it 'just in case' and when I needed it 5 months later I discovered it didn't fit.

I had contacted the seller prior and asked what would fit a Delica with 4d56T and was told this was the proper one:

I didn't pay attention that it was 5 bolt and only found out when I went to install it and noticed it was different than the one I pulled out.

Does the 5 bolt fit a Pajero or Strada possibly?

It is a nice looking Turbo and its been balanced on a Schenck Balancing Machine.

I don't see why the 5-bolt would make a difference, that has nothing to do with fitment to the engine and air intake.

It looks like it would work to me...where does it not fit?

It should be 3 bolts, does your strada have a 5 bolt turbo?

If someone has pics of their turbo'd Mitsu diesels they could post pics and work the process of elimination.

At first glance the new unit has more in common with the Turbo I have on my L400.....but the 5 bolt face does not look like it would work for the 4M40 that has the mechanical fuel pump (just checked mine to verify). On the dirty/dark turbo those 2 little tubes on the turbo discharge port delivers the high pressure air charge to different engine management systems. Fuel pump is one...not sure where the second line goes as I don't own an L300

Your new turbo looks like it has only one tube which is what my L400 uses. I know you didn't ask for an L400 comparison but still worth checking.

Here's our stock turbo for pajero2500cc, which has 5 exhaust bolts pattern.
And comparison for three bolt pattern for delica L300.

Just for your reference for turbo application.

I don't guarantee Kinugawa Turbo (5 Bolt) TD04L fits pajero2500.
It will be buyer's own risk. 8-)

can't just buy the exhaust flange from vibrant and run the turbo? Technically that style waste gate is far superior to that of the stock l300 gate.
