My wife and I are on the hunt for a Delica Exceed L300 in all White or all Black with the Crystal lite high roof.

We have searched the Trader section and are not getting any response from the ones we like. Seems like a lot of out dated postings on there(2011) and no one responding.

If anyone has one or knows of someone selling one of these Delicas, please let us know.

I find Craigslist to be great for looking at these vehicles. Also, you are aware of the rust problem with the crystal lite roofs right?

I have heard a bit about the rust. What else can you tell me? Is it a nightmare situation to avoid at all costs or just something to check when buying?

It will happen guaranteed and the roof will need to be repaired but I wanted one so badly I just delt with it. It's a 2-3 day job and $100 to repair yourself, it's about $2000 to have it professionally repaired or better yet, you find one that's already been repaired to buy. Look on the roof, if you see bubbling, deal with it soon as it's a lot worse underneath.

Is that not more of an L300 problem then a l400?

It is, but the op is looking for an L300.

From what I have heard the white Delica's do not have this problem at the same rate as the other colors for some reason. It is not why I bought a white one but found out about this after the fact.
