Good morning everyone!

There has been some threads about the H3 LED replacement, but it seems, from the comments, that they were not strong enough. I found these ones at 460 Lumens; http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-New-H ... 29466.html

What do you think?

Wow... No response on this one. You guys could not be more direct in telling me that it is an idiotic post hehehe... No offence taken. I will make my own research aka trial and error and post it!

Cheers!

Fred

I was looking for the same thing but it looks like they're only permitted for use in fog lights. If the LED's work for you though I'd definitely but some!

The one thing to note is that a standard 55W H3 bulb is putting out a lot more than 460 lumens, more in the arena of 1400 to 1500 lumens. The LED therefore is going to be a much less substantial light source than the regular Halogen H3.

For a bulb replacement, I don't think that 1/3 of the light output makes a lot of sense. Perhaps it would be worth looking into some auxiliary lighting if you're looking for more light for either low beam or high beam operation.
