Manual Pull Accelerator Thing...

I have an older Paj with the manual pull accelerator. You can pull it out and turn it slightly to lock it in position.

A friend fixed this once but never looked closely enough at what he did. Something is missing or I don't know what but reached under there and the nut felt loose...turned it and suddenly it's apart - as in I can't set it any more.

I didn't see anything drop away or into my hand BUT I can see where a part was rubbing. Does anyone have pics of the assembly so I can what I'm missing?

That is a throttle lock for warming up the vehicle. Start the vehicle, depress the accelerator a bit to get the revs up over 1000 rpm, pull and twist the throttle lock, let engine idle for a number of moments until the engine temperatures come up (you see movement on the water temp gauge).

ADDITIONAL: It would be extremely dangerous to use this as a "cruise control" and is therefore highly discouraged. This is not its intended purpose.

I know what it is and for... It won't lock and it looks like something is missing.

There's a plate with 2 angled bends, a nut, the plastic sheath that the wire goes through that you screw the nut to but it looks like something's missing. So what ever fix my friend did wasn't going to last so I'm trying to sort out what's missing.
