I have a 92 super exceed, I have put a bunch of km's on it and it's now time for my first oil change. Any suggestions/tricks to this? I assume I should change the oil filter as well, anything else I should look at, at this time. I am really pleased with the performance so far.

I have only recently started changing my own oil after years of taking advantage of the minute lube places. A Deli takes 6.5 to 6.2 liters of oil, both of mine take 6.3 liters. The filter part numbers are listed
here and with the awkward location of the filter a filter wrench is helpful. The filter is on the large size so a filter wrench must be chosen accordingly. And if your torsion bars are wound up (like I always seem to go on about) to get your Deli level then you have plenty of room underneath to work. Maybe consider change your differentials, transmission, and transfer case fluids if they haven't been changed since your Deli got off the boat.

5000 km seems to be average time for the oil and filter. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Five thousand klicks is what the owner's manual says, if I've got my kana right. It also says you need CD oil for a turbo diesel (CC for normally aspirated), but pretty well all oil meets that spec now.
