She has been a good ship for 2 and a tot,but
another gaffer coming in June so one sliding door
won't work. Back to the SPCA Pajero with 2 back doors,
another post with that ride once the bugs are worked out.

Right On! 8-)

Nice van!

Curious on your comments about having 2 rugrats on the floor not working with the one door. What about rotating one (or both) of those sexy middle seats around and sliding them as far forwards as you can? Clip Junior Junior's carseat in the rear-facing one closest to the sliding door, while Junior Senior gets in first and straps into the far (driver's side) one.

Thanks man,
I have put tons of energy and $$ into her.
I forgot to mention it is lifted too. (I edited)
The new addition gremlin is due in June and
it is already difficult for her to get my 21 month old monster,
(36 pounds already, bigger than some 4 year olds)in and out.
We tried a few setups like that that but it is still a strain for her.
Once the kidlets are able to buckle themselves in we will probably get her another L400,she really really loved it.
(Reggie my son did too,Crystal-lite lover)
I do like the ABS,non-cab over and airbag for peace of mind.
(still love love my Land-Shark L300 cabover for dad though!)
All about timing I guess and keeping preggo grumpy
mamma bear happy...

Right On! 8-)

Too bad they didn't seem to make many with dual sliding doors , just saw one online a LHD version in Europe.

I converted both our l400's to 8 seaters for this reason. Spin the bench sideways to buckle the 2 youngest in their car seats, spin bench to "transport" position, climb in back to buckle other 2 kids. Way easier to get in the rear with the 8 seater bench. But I can definetly relate to keeping "everyone" happy

x2 on the rotating middle bench config. Joe, did you think about installing one of those in place of the captain's chairs? There must be a Chamonix or low roof L400 at Glenn's. It's always a juggle to sort out which girls sit in the middle bench because they like the rotating portion of the buckling in process.
