I have set my heart on a Delica but do I buy an older or newer shaped one, what are the the main differances. Fuel econ, reliability etc? I want to camp, off road ( a lot) and also head down south once in a while. Can parts for both be easy to get hold of? There are lots of discussions on here that I need to check out and find out even more to help me decide. Any advise would be good.

Welcome
Ari posted links that should give you an idea of which one to lean towards
Are you in Port Hardy? If so, a drive down to Glen at Coombs Auto would be beneficial. He's one of the delica canada pioneers.
Or contact Andy (asorensen) a 1/2 hour down from you in Port McNeill. He's a deli aficionado and has had both rigs.
Cheers

Thanks for the advise, a trip down to Victoria and Vancouver planned this weekend to look at a selection of delicas. I will take your advise and see the other guys on Monday on my way back. Is there a gps/sat nav location or email address for the guys.
