electrical short, left headlights, horn, dash lights

I have been trying to track what is shorting out my left headlights and tail lights. If there is a direct correlation I am not sure but my dash lights are out as well as horn.
The horn and Stop light fuses blow each time I replace them.
I have replaced the combination switch with a used one with no real change.
I do not know which relays pertain to the headlights or horn but there are several relays near the batteries. I have tried the wiring diagrams to try and help identify the issue but the ones I have are poor and it is difficult to see color codes and figure where the relay s are that correspond to each device?
when I first started I connected the left headlight connector and my right headlights function properly. Previous to this the headlights would not turn off. I had to pull the fuse when I shut down to put the headlights out. The right high beam worked and the other three lights would light at half the normal luminence.
there should be enough indicators to show where the problem is but I do not know enough about Deli wiring or electronics to figure this out and I have been working on it for a couple of days?
