How do U mean driving on the wrong side? :) Its right (exactly) side :)jaggedfish wrote:Looks like a fun adventure! Interesting to see pictures from a different country. Thank you for sharing!
Those questions are in my signature line. They are questions we get asked over and over by curious people who are not familiar with Delicas. In Canada our vans are right hand drive which is technically the wrong side for our roads. How do U mean driving on the wrong side? :) Its right (exactly) side :)

Apart from one or two ~ we all drive right hand drive Delicas. They never made them for here so we get them from Japan. Wouldn't want to convert the steering for three reasons:L300Foca wrote:I know that is signature :)jaggedfish wrote:Those questions are in my signature line. All of U have vans with right side drive? :) Is it possible some convert modification?
hahaha, guy with beard drink domestic Apricot brandy :) but we drink sljivovitz as well and we start at the same time when this bootle was emty :) !FalcoColumbarius wrote: Apart from one or two ~ we all drive right hand drive Delicas. - 1/ I get a better overall view of the road from the right side of the vehicle, in fact I have far fewer blind spots than I did in my left hand drive Plymouth Voyager.
2/ it's easier to access the basic engine components with the hatch on the left side. If the steering wheel is on the left then I'd have to remove the seat and the deck it's mounted on just to check the oil, tranny, fuel filter, batteries, coolant, &c., &c..
3/ It would cost too much and potentially compromise the Delica's performance.
Thanks for your photo essay, wonderful pictures. By the way ~ the guy with the beard and the toque, leading the oxen ~ I that an open bottle of slivovitz that he is holding?
Falco.
We have much snow in mountains during winter months, but now same situation is in downtown, everything is surrounded with ice :)Big-Bird wrote:Just look at that deep snow.......nice. You even had images of snow piling under the bash plates. Jeez I wish we had snow in Alberta like that right now. It's been so warm +2 celsius and higher our snow has all but melted in the prairies. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
