Who runs on WVO in the Prairies?

Hello,

Just curious who's running on wvo in the Prairies? Or if you know someone who does even if it's not a Delica... If you could let me know that'd be great. Just trying to help a fellow ExpeditionPortal member from Saskatoon who's getting ready to make the plunge.

Cheers,
Mr. D

I just started this summer, but Manitoba delica, and mrdueck are the manitoba wvo veterans on this forum. I don't have that much experience with it yet, but let me know if I can be of any assistance.

Almost the prairies, the plantdrive.ca fellow in Canmore, AB, is super cool and has WVO available. Or he'll process your WVO for you even.

Hi David - hey, someone contacted Torie about a Deli and a Pajero, and he contacted me because one of his kids accidentally deleted the message on his answering machine before he got the fellows number written down....would this be the same guy? If so, could you ask him to contact Torie again?

Also, we have had customers with Landcruisers, Safari, Jetta TDI's, and of course pickups, even a Smart car, running on the Prairies, yes, all year. A few Delicas too, I'm sure, but I can't remember specific Delica owner names at the moment. There was a customer here from Edmonton with a Delica, stopped in and got some items, so he was definitely running WVO.

Need a good in tank heater (Hotfox) over there, and 2-tank, that's for sure!

Keep it alive guys! It will make my live way easier next time I drive across the country! Hahaha, I won't need to carry 600L of WVO like I did on my last trip!

Ed, I'll check who was asking and let them know if it was indeed the same person...

Cheers
Mr. D

Sorry to necro this thread, but....

Is there any WVO installers on the prairies? I don't think I have the nerve to do it myself (or time). I want to put one on my Pajero that I don't even have yet! (SOOOOOOOON)

I have been doing installs at my shop, and there should be a Plant Drive installer in Winnipeg. If you want to go with plant drive, I have a used kit. (Not enough heat for our climate, and too taxing on the alternator in my opinion.) Give me a pm if you want any of my limited knowledge and endless advice.
