Safe workplace environment while using a hoist

Just a head's up for you guys working under hoists out there.
A friend of mine lots his right foot yesterday after a rotor fell off a hub at head height and severed part of his foot away from his ankle. He was wearing a pair of running shoes like the guy in this photo.
If you're working under a vehicle, ALWAYS wear steel toes boots and make sure the central locks are latched on the hoist. Too many horror stories.
And don't forgot safety goggles. It never fails. Every time I don't put on a pair, I end up having dirt or oil in my eyes for a week. It's quite irritating.
