So, I Understand There Was A Ball Game Yesterday...

I missed the Grey Cup yesterday, I was at a funeral but I caught some highlights later in the evening. I hear that one team truly behaved like "Lions" where the other team... well ~ Bombed.
I heard Winnipeg's mayor on the CBC this morning, an honourable man, pays his gaming debts ~ I also hear that the "Golden Boy" is soon to be the "Orange Boy".
Did anyone catch the game?
Falco.

No!
Three of us met up for waffles and the Grey Cup, Monday morning here, but there was no coverage on the TV!!
I pay for the extra sports channels and all we got was the highlights on the sports recap. No I didn't check the schedule, but it is always far from complete; ie quite often just lists a NHL game and I have to tune in to see who's playing, though start times can give it away.
Cheers,
Kev

Not into sports, but watched the game with the guys at church anyways. Thought I might see some good comercials. Was wrong. Didn't really care about the outcome of the game, but thought it was pretty clear BC had the homefield advantage when it came to reffing though. Very disapointed with the comercials though.

Ahh the overturned spider we call BC Place. Only four times in Grey Cup history has the host team won the Cup. Just so happens that two of those times it's been the Lions. Now it's three ~ but who's counting.
I don't usually follow the sports, either ~ except when the finals draw near and one of our teams is in them ~ pretty flaky, really.
Kevin, can't you get a dish or something? Pick it up off a satellite? In the highlights later that day at the Noodle House I saw a couple of occasions where a Lion pulled the helmet off of a Bomber, which I thought was bad form, some spectacular catches and a sports occasion later where retired peanut butter Joe Kapp decked retired Angelo Mosca. I know what that was about....

Falco we have a legit dish package, though I found out later that a friend grey market satellite picked the game up. His 80 something inch TV would have been a pleasant way to watch the game.
The main sport that everyone follows over here is football, but a huge margin, but just the football you know by a different name.
That fight of the old timers was pretty funny, there wanna be hockey players.......

Well, I understand that there's Canadian Football, American Football (which is easier, come on, four downs) ~ and then there is Football. An 80 something screen would be good with beer and a couple of nuts, eating chips...
Do you know the story behind Joe Kapp and Angelo Mosca?
