Good place to get block heater installed in the GTA?

With winter creeping its way here, I am getting my Paj ready for what's coming. Although our winters here in southern ontario are not the worst, I still feel getting a block heater installed is a good investment. I am new to diesels, so I have no clue where to start.
Anyone have any helpful tips on the subject ie. what type and where I can get it installed or whether its even worth it.
I would be willing to go anywhere in and around the GTA.
Any help is appreciated.

CT Motor Sports by Pearson.
Ski & Dan are very good mechanics and really nice guys. Have worked a fair bit on my Pajero.

I HAVE NOT DEALT WITH THEM BEFORE.
But you can always try Right Drive. It's another option and they're somewhat close.

For our generally-pretty-mild winters, I'd go with something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Kats-14500-Lower- ... B000I8XD0S
You can probably google a better price. Plus, it gives you a reason/chance to inspect your coolant hoses.
If you can't install it yourself, go see Jamie at RCS (Swayze road, off rymal) (905) 928-1271. Great custom work and great prices. Shop doesn't look like much, but judge by what is inside.

So did you get anything installed yet? Oil Pan heater and coolant heater is your best bet.

I have a coolant heater installed on my L400 so far so good, no problem to start - 14 (coldest so far) and does not take to long to get good heat in the van

I am so glad your L400 starts well in cold weather.
11V Hyundai OEM glow plug, OEM glow plug relay, good battery, lower coolant heater--- that's it.

To answer your original question you can ask for Dominic at right-drive he will be able to install a coolant heater and oil pan heater if you are so inclined. However the in-line coolant heater is put on your lower rad-hose which has been argued is a sub-optimal installation point.
If you have a Manual transmission on a 4D56 engine, I would recommend getting the block heater installed in the frost plug on the left hand side of the engine by any experienced diesel mechanic (can reach after removing the fuel filter and the intercooler). For automatic transmission I understand that you have to remove the starter motor or something to get the block heater into the motor.
In my opinion, (after 3 years of driving in Ottawa/Montreal/Toronto) my pajero is fine without a block heater. As I have not seen the air temperature drop below -23 in this part of Canada. (ignore windchill which does not affect vehicles starting temp).
More importantly however say that putting in quality glow plugs is a must. Also another must is flushing out all the crud from the cooling system. (it took me a long time of blowing out crud from the rear heating system.)

Mine has the 4M4O, and my understanding is that the usable frost plug is very difficult to get at. Thankfully the weather has not been to bad as of yet so I have put off the work. But if today is anything like the rest of the season, than I will have to get it done, sooner than later. Right Drive is a little out of my way, but they have been servicing my skyline for a few years. So I will probably end up going there for this as well.

Hi there, I was thinking a little more, and I have heard of one other place called "splitfire automotive" in Brampton. They are used to working on Pajeros as well. I think they also do work on some other JDM vechicles. I haven't personally used them but I remember Right Drive recommended them at one time to me as well.
