white connector plug behind dash

Does anyone know the function of the white collection plug just behind the dash from the inside above the fuse box behind the headlight. its a multi prong plug.
mine is not connected to anything and i cant see any other plug on the harness in the area that it should connect to...

What are you driving? I see this is in L300 Technical so I am going to presume it's an L300? Which model & year?

there are a few plugs in the wiring harness that connect to nothing. i presume other models has the same harness with different options. if everything works okay, and there is nowhere to connect it to, than dont worry about it

not worried about it but just wanted to see what its for. I am still going through the new vehicle and not sure if everything is functioning as it should yet. also wanted to see if this had anything to do with the head lights and make sure it was done properly.

These wagons were built to be modded out. I'm sure the designers at Mitsubishi thought of many possibilities and left spaces, convenient holes, potential wiring &c., just for this purpose. I still discover things in my wagon and I've had her for four years. I love these machines.
