Looking for 6' long roof basket....Anyone?

Maybe I'm not a good looker but I can't seem to find any roof baskets that are longer then normal. I'm putting together (hopefully) a roadtrip down to Costa Rica and would like something bigger. Had a custom welder here quote me about 1000-1200$ for one in aluminum which is what I'm lookng for....Sound decent?

I happened to be at North Shore Off Road today, and I looked at their Surco Brand roof baskets. Check out
http://www.surcoinc.com/R-BR_SR5.html to take a look at some of their sizes. S5072 is 6 feet, although the 50" width would overhang your roof by a couple inches.
I have a quote for ~$200 for the 45" x 60" Safari basket and another $200 for gutter mounting brackets (12" height to clear my crystal lite roof. They also have 6" and 8" heights). Sounds a little cheaper than your $1G custom order.
I've seen roof baskets from the Japan Road Trip people and others on the web, but I don't know about their lengths. Good luck finding a basket, and have fun on your massive road trip!
