i have a van coming in on friday of this week and wondering if anyone could recommend a repair/service shop in calgary? I have spoken with Pro Star and they can do the inspection but do not work on diesels. any help would be great!

Crusher (my Delica's importer) uses ProActive for his service. They are in the NW, somewhere around 29 St and 32 Ave (I'm too lazy tonight to look it up  ) I haven't been there, but plan to have them do my timing belt.

For general work, other than turbo and diesel, I'll be using the same shop I've been using for 10 years for my previous vehicle. Kirkham Automotive (253-2033) on Horton Road in the SW (near Heritage and Macleod). They haven't yet worked on my Delica yet, but they did work on Green1's and one of their mechanics has worked on RHD vehicles before. They aren't scared of them. They'll do whatever they are comfortable doing, and recommend places for anything else. Tell them you've got a Delica and "the mothership" recommended them. They'll know who I am

I know of a privately run shop near center and 16th that does not operate in the winter that I plan to use for my Deli. The proprietor was highly recommended by a good friend who has used them and who's opinion I trust implicitly. If you want to call me I can give you his contact info, send me a note.
