Greetings All!

I've been lurking this site for over a year now, but finally my dream came true last Sunday with the purchase of a 1994 black l300 with a little over 110,000 km on it. I've named it 'Raven' due to the obvious colour similarities, the two Ravens that were flying around overhead when I was trying to figure out a name, and to satisfy my not-so-hidden inner biology nerd :-)

I'm looking forward to many adventures and daily driving with Raven, and I am particularly grateful for this forum and the collective knowledge that makes owning an import, with all the quirks and potential mods, an exciting adventure!

Look forward to seeing you all on the road, and hopefully meeting others in the Southern Vancouver Island... and from further afield!

Cheers,

Steve

Looks like a great vehicle, congratulations on the purchase and welcome to the forum!
Is that liner I see on the roof? 8-)

Hey Welcome Steve!

Your deli is awesome and looks familiar,
did you buy it local or import it?

May the Raven fly long!

Right On! 8-)

Hope to see it ripping along the island some day.

Looks great.

Very nice. The L300 looks as good all-black as it does all-white.

Welcome to the group. See you 'round town some time - I'm the guy in the Pajero waving frantically at any RHD.

Thanks all for the warm welcome!

nxski: It is a rhino-liner on the roof. Apparently put on when imported. (Hope it's not hiding anything nasty!) Love your motto by the way.

Luna-Sea: It might indeed look familiar - it's local and used to live in the Central Saanich area.

Slimdog: You'll definitely see some island ripping/exploration as soon as I get some time off work!

mararmeisto: I might have already seen you... ten minutes into my inaugural drive on Sunday I passed a Pajero on West Saanich and automatically waved (a hold-over from my motorcyle riding days) and the rider enthusiastically waved back... :-)
