I need to replace the exhaust on my '94 L300. I know I can go the Stainless route to the tune of $800 @ CVI, wondering where other folks have had exhaust work done. would likely be fine with a stock exhaust vs. stainless if the the price is right. Where should I go in Vancouver or Richmond and how much should I expect to pay? Thanks in advance for the advice!

Ah, everyone has a vastly different on this I found. Do much research.
Felix sourced his own parts (some place in Port Moody ??), got bolt on parts, so easy to install by himself. I recall his comment was finding someone to do the bends Properly, not JUST bending it, but ensuring that the part was formed OVER a special device to prevent the wrinkling of the pipe at the pipe beds which would restrict the airflow, to goal to get those hot exhaust gases out of the engine fast to keep engine running cooler.
Someone else got the SS at Quiet Mufflers on Kingsway in Burnaby (they fit and weld each piece individually).
My L300 this summer got a new 2.5inch pipe from the front to the end, AND side exhaust, AND magna flo muffler, all together now engine runs much cooler uphill, and seems peppier, so that's all good. But the increased SOUND is horrible. Every bit of gravel that hits the undercarriage is magnified in sound (as side exhaust hangs much lower than the factory rear exhaust). Even the voices in my head are muffled when I drive beside road dividers and other things with the side exhaust.
Christine.
