Hello Forum,

I've been searching for Mitsubishi Van for almost 2 years and I finally found one not too far from where I live. I wish they have the 4x4 diesel version but I am more than happy with a 2WD gas version.

I'm going to get my van road worthy and will be doing a lot of road trips up and down the California Coast. This Van is very rare here that even VW Bus (Vanagons mostly) owners give me thumbs up.

What I want to buy for my van:

1. Roof Rack
2. Rear ladder
3. Red/Clear Taillights
4. Curtains (going to make one thanks Delica.ca)

Now about my Van:

1990 Mitsubishi Van LS
2wd
Automatic Tranny
Power Sliding Glass Sunroof

Welcome! Always good to see a southern cousin find one of these gems that made it to our continental shores back in the day. As you point out though, sadly without the diesel engine engine or the 4x4 package. Despite that, the one thing you'll have an advantage over all those VW drivers is you won't be buried in the engine bay every weekend resurrecting it (if the engine's still good)!

That being said, I think you've found a pretty neat vehicle, and since you're in San Fran, it's likely in really good shape. Aren't all Californian cars? You're right about it being rare - I seem to remember '90 being the last year the model was sold in USA.

Again, welcome to the group!

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I am enjoying working and driving my Van.

The more I work on this Van the more I find out that the previous owner didn't really maintain this Van but it's all good since the more I work on this Van the more I get to know it.

Hello there, im in seattle, and have an eighty seven panel version of this van if you need parts. Its the steel sided panel, no side window, automatic with small fuel injected four gasoline. Cool rig!
