Algonquin Park, Ontario

Post by Mbryant »

Today my son and I headed out to the edge of Algonquin Park for some ice climbing. The roads from Bracebridge to the park were slush covered and icy, so I stuck the Millennium Falcon in 4H and off we went. The drive normally takes about 35 minutes but today it took us over an hour. When we arrived at the parking lot is was not plowed and I think the store employee was surprised to see us.

We each did a few climbs till our forearms were burnt then we hiked back to the van and started the slow ride home. It was a great day, ice climbing with my son, driving in the Delica, and Tim Hortens Vanilla Cappuccino at the end of the drive. :-D

Top picture is us after arriving, by the way it is very nice to have a nice dry (under the back door) spot to change.
Middle pic is my son, and the bottom is Grandpa enjoying the exercise.

Cheers
