Any word on when those plugs will arrive? It would be nice to have my ECU back in and working before my trip so I can use remote start.

still waiting on jnz co. I ordered them, not much I can do aside from wait until they find or get stock. Once I get them, regardless if they are the genuine green tops or not, I'll give them away here at the next meet as I don't have our L300 anymore.

So the USA suppliers are completely out and will not be replenishing their stock which is a let down.
The Mitsu green tops both companies had advertised were old stock and once gone, that's it.
My 1st Japan contact is still hunting.
2nd contact has a set cost of $238 for 4 ($59.50 per plug) which is about $40 less than the average cost (Rising Sun's pricing was correct - it's high in Japan)
If that's too rich, then the next best thing is the CY55's.
Will keep you guys posted.

thought you guys were chasing down the 6.x V plugs? NGK CY55 plugs are 11V for 2.8L (good plugs btw)

There’s no 6.2V glow plugs we can recommend to use, except OEM green top.
As long as we have a 6.2V super quick glow plug system in a delica, we have to replace aftermarket ones in short term with bad starting issue.
This plan must be a good lesson for us for group buy in “one price tag” Japan.

Thers's no complaint for Hyundai 11V glow plugs in Canada.

Bosch list a 6.2 plug in that catalog I listed a while ago...what about looking for the Bosch plugs
I have great faith in Bosch plugs as my 1.6L non turbo VW would only start on them in cold interior and the one set lasted longer then the motor...
Just an idea..

Are you sure you're not a bosch salesman? Maybe I should delete this for being spam!?
But in all seriousness, I've heard nothing but good things about their plugs. I'd be interested to see them tried out.

If you need to ban me I do understand...if I had the power to ban you it would have been when the 100 thing got bolted to your roof...

2161's . Sorry about that Chris. I'm sleep-foruming after a 18 hour shift at the hospital.

FYI, one piece glow plug from Mitsubishi counter is 7,500yen( appro. CAD $100).
I told there’s no discount if you order through group buy ( one price tag system ).
Anything under that price will be fake or possible NGK secret/hidden counter.

If you ask many of your customers, I do a lot of business indirectly with you through people I send to you for parts. No one denies that you are an excellent source for parts. You just don't need to rub it in every post you make.
Whatever notion you have that I work in this used car sales area or for one of your competitors, you can throw it out the window. It's simply not what I do. The sooner you grasp this, the better off we'll be in this forum.
If you want to keep arguing
much ado about nothing on this forum, that's your call but it takes two to tango and the same dance has been overplayed.
Let's just shake hands and stop bickering. There's no reason why your online persona and mine can't get along.
We both enjoy Delica's and working on them.
Hopefully this is the last side track for this thread.

I still dont see whats so special about these plugs that another 6V cannot replace?
or why you even need the 6v replacement when you can just replace it with a 12v and bypass the super quick part of the system and just wait 10 seconds longer for the glow plugs to heat up before cranking the engine.

Thanks Jessie for organizing the group buy. I'm afraid however, it has lost it's momentum and it does not appear to getting to the buy stage. Could you please remove my name from the list. I've been able to get a set from J Cruisers in Armstrong for $70 each and I can have them today! He does not carry a large stock but I know @ this time he has @ least 1 more set if anyone needs a set quickly.
Thanks again for the effort - the $ 20 a plug sure would have been great.

will do. Cheers Larry
I have a set coming from Japan @ $180 for four greentops. If they are the real deal, then that's the best cost per plug I can get. Comes out to $47.30 per plug total.
