well there is the seller/broker/auction agent saying its clean, and then there is a disenfecting cleaning where it goes onto a ramp and its even powerwashed from the underside, However I think im missing something here,
so are you saying that when you have your container come in, your shipping it to Calgary in the container, NOT doing the agro inspection in Vancouver, how are you getting it released to be shiped to Calgary to clear the customs?

I do ALOT of importing and have shipped many loads all across the country, and unless it stays in its container and goes customs bonded, how is it getting to Calgary to be failed?

or are you shipping the entire container there , as the vehicle is not even supposed to be de-stuffed until agro is there IF they are going to inspect that load. Once its out of the box, if there were any bugs and mud on it, they would be easily contaminating.

this is for containers being shipped straight to Calgary and clearing customs there. (YOU may not do it this way, that doesn't mean that many others don't)

So far this only affects Calgary, but I suspect it will expand to the rest of the country once they see how "effective" it is.

I'll bet if one of their daughters fell off her horse and was rescued by a Delica in the wilderness they might think twice about failing them. Just my thoughts.

This is all very interesting as I expected to receive my vehicule detailed inside and out as promised by Japan Partner, they also promised to post photos of my forthcoming deli and none of this was done.
My delica arrived here in Dec. and would have failed seriously I still had cigarette butts in ashtrays.
Dean Cadre was my agent at Japan Partner originally from Kamloops...
My bushbar had to be removed to pass BC inspection @ Canadian Tire in Terrace.Cheers all!

Seriously? They had you take the front bumper off so it would pass inspection? Fascinating.
