Usually found on BC's Southern Gulf Island, Delicus canabis is a laid-back variant of Mitsubishi's StarWagon collection of L300 vehicles. Generally seen with curtains drawn and thick white smoke lazily drifting out of the slightly opened windows, D. canabis is known for its voracious appetite... (giggle, giggle, giggle)

Looks like somebody's been watching Vikki Pollard from Little Britain:

“No, but yeh, but no, what happened was, was you know the Redmond sisters, they found a verruca sock in the girls bogs and put it in Carrie's bag and she completely had an eppy and turned up to Carmel Sharma's party with a compass and stabbed Carmel Sharma, and anyway Shelly Bentley gave Craig Harmen a blowie in the shallow end for a bite of his Funny Foot.”

You know....

I could get into "a pack of Delicae". However, when I hear the term "pack", I think of wolves. Are Delicae in the same canine family? It seems to me that we ought to be defining exactly what the Delica is. Perhaps we ought to be looking in the marsupial group ~ more related to the Canadian Beaver. To me the Delica has similar lines to the Canadian Beaver ~ compare profiles. They both love to play in the water, frolic in the trees and after all, it was up until around 1921 that Canada drove on the left hand side of the road with right hand drive vehicles. As a matter of fact, the first recorded automobile accident occurred after that date. perhaps the Delica is more indigenous than people realise.

Could Delicae be collected in a lodge or a colony? As the Delicus Canadiensis is of diesel orientation ~ perhaps we should be also considering the Badger (also plays in the water & frolics amidst the trees). A "Cete of Delicae". "Cetane number or CN is a measurement of the combustion quality of diesel fuel during compression ignition" ~ ergo..... "A Cete of Delicae".

Good points, for sure. I put Pack out there thinking more "dog" than "wolf", though do think wolf works, and if you want a reference to a Canadian icon, who could argue about a pack of wolves? As a dog guy I think in terms of my pack all the time. I love my dog and put lots of time, money and effort into his health and happiness. We feed him the best food available, keep him up to snuff with his obedience, and take him for a 40 min. walk every morning and a 15 km. bike ride every single day, no matter what the weather. He's a true friend. But hey, I feel very much the same about that delica sitting in the driveway. Love and care for her, spend lots of time and money on her, give her only the best fuel and fluids, and take her out on adventures, everyday, even if its just to the grocery store. She's got loads of personality and is drawn to others of her own kind. Delica / dog, pretty much the same - so I thought "pack" of delicas :-D

When I saw this post about the Delica lineup at 5Star, I thought it looked like a Phalanx of Delicas...

I'm new to this whole thing, just got my Deli last Saturday, but I do like a Horde of Delicas. Of course if we are talking about just a group of us "owners", it is obviously simply a meeting.... a Delicaholics Unanimous Meeting. Although the TLA (Three Letter Acronym) is more conducive to a description of the unconverted, DUM. So perhaps the latin would serve better here, Meetingus Unanimous Delicaphile or MUD....

Sorry if it's already been suggested but how about "A Money Pit" of Delicas?

Cheers,

Right here are my suggestions:

An Asylum of Delicas
A Bevy of Delicas
A Blur of Delicas
A Descent of Delicas
A Flight of Delicas
A Mob of Delicas
A Muster of Delicas
A Party of Delicas
A Phalanx of Delicas
A Plunder of Delicas
A Pride of Delicas
A Rack of Delicas
A Rumble of Delicas
A Shock of Delicas
A Wolfpack of Delicas

My Favorite:

A Shitload of Delicas

I remember years ago listing as many collective nouns that my daughter and I could come up with.
We did it off and on for weeks. My dad stopped it all with one he thought up. We couldn't better it.
