So it's not worth going to Duratracs over Territories for the 200 bucks in savings in your opinion?
I understand store brands, and the whole exclusive to CT thing... i'm good with car tires, this is my first truck!

Whichever you choose, if you get them I stalled at CT check your lug nuts and don't allow them to do any other work on your vehicle even if they insist it needs doing.

that's my only worry. getting the work done at CT.

I wouldn't worry too much, just pull the vehicle into the parking lot after and re-torque to make sure all is good.

When I went to the local CT @ 7th and Cambie in Vancouver, they had introduced a new shop policy to not work on RHD vehicles. They'd sell me the tires, but did not want to install them.

I eventually had them done there under the radar by a sympathetic shop supervisor / RHD enthusiast, but he said the manager (at the time) was a schmuck.

This was more than a year ago IIRC, so things might have changed. But ask before you fork over your credit card.

Edit: Got Territories, and FWIW I've been very happy with them both on and off road. A bit noisier than the Kumhos that Mardy supplied, but no big surprise.

Do the Territories have the snowflake symbol?

After calling the local CT and seeing what they charged for install it wasn't worth it.
A local tire shop quoted me 196 for the Duratracs each, then an 80 dollar instant rebate. It ended up being almost the same.

Not a bad deal! I know it's not worth the ferry ride but if you happen to be on the mainland it's definitely worth the drive south to get tires at Discount Tire in the states. I sold my 1 year old BFG A/T 8 ply 275-35-r15 tires used with rims for $650, in retuen I was also given larger rims and bought brand new 31-10.5-r15 10 ply tires in the states for $600. (gotta love profiting on an upgrade!)

That is one of the small list of things i miss about living in Van.
Not it's just not worth the ferry ride for money and time.
