Just spoke to Jay, seems like they'll be coming as well... so not - likely not.

So my schedule is in for Sun.

My daughter and I need to be at Cypress Mtn. by 930am. End of season ski event for the rugrats.

Looks like i'll have to drive the LHD rocket so I can stop by and say HI (9ish) and make it to the mtn on time.

Boy do I need an L400.

With the L3, it's approx 25min to get from the base of Cypress Rd to the lodge at Cypress Mtn. (Drive/park/gear up/walk)

We need to be there by 930am. I am one of the race course volunteers.

So yeah, situations like this I take the LHD.

Was really nice put some known names to faces and thanks to TardisDeli for their hospitality after Tomahawk.

Delicat & Christine checked out the view from higher altitude...

E X C E L L E N T T I M E ! ! ! ! ! Good to put faces to some of the aliases. Good food, too.

Total count: 12, but then another Pajero showed up (LWB 1993 Dakar Winner Version), and then as some of us were leaving, another L400. And I saw an L300 on the ferry going home, but they didn't know about the meet (gave them a sticker anyways). So that makes 15 vehicles and more than 30 people. A good turnout by my count.

Good to see some of the long-standing members I've never met before: Fexlboi, DeliTan, and JRMan (I think I got the names correct). I also swung by the infamous TardisMotel, and then I took a moment to get a bit of swag from Dave's Surplus (how I miss having an army surplus store here in Peace-and-love-and-hold-my-hand Land). I also sighted a couple of the locations I've been seeing in the tv show 'Caprica' - I've never lived in Vancouver, but been there often enough to recognise some of the sights. Who knew that the Caprica Colony looked so much like Vancouver harbour? Weird, eh?

We'll probably be cruising through the Lower Mainland again at the end of summer as we go on our annual camping expedition. Hope to see you again.
