I realize this is an old post, but for anyone who might be reading it anew... RHD is "better" for the driver, but definitely not the passenger. Getting used to traffic rushing toward you with no ability to control the vehicle is not something that everyone can do. Also, one of the benefits of being the co-pilot is the chance to relax and take in some scenery, which is much nicer from the close side. I don't find anything about RHD harder for me as a driver but I also tend to have company when I drive!

So true. When I ride in the passanger seat it takes awhile to relax and trust the driver as that traffic comes at me.

Get a steering wheel for the passenger to hold, and then tell them to have a nap, make the other drivers have the fear instead.
