We haven't seen any 1997 L300s in Canada yet, (they won't be legal for import for another 3 years) so we're not exatly experts on them... It wouldn't entirely surprise me though because after 1994 the L300s started being a lot more stripped down as Mitsubishi tried to convince people to buy the L400 instead.
Well, you see when I look underneath I cant`t see any difference with my wife`s 1992 - looks absolutely identical! But in catalogue mine KD-P35W - 65L, hers Q-P35W - 75L!

Curious, where is this catalog and how do I find this number?

I'm assuming that my van has something like this on it somewhere:
...KD-P35W - 65L, hers Q-P35W - 75L!
Where would I find this? (I'm not near the van, so I can't go looking atm)

Things like "Q-P35W" are on the commissioning plate behind the driver's calves, under the little flap in the carpet. The same plate that lists the codes for the colours, transmission, options, and so on.

Gumdrop has the 75 litre tanks (I've crawled underneath and looked). The fuel gauge seems to be calibrated for the 55 litre tank, so it reads Empty (and only takes 50 litres or so to fill up) when you have lots of diesel left.
