Careful, you'll scare all the vegetarians off the forum.

PS: I like yummy cows too. And kangaroo, and buffalo, and sheep, and... if we weren't supposed to eat meat, the animals wouldn't have been made of it! Ha ha ha!

Tasty if done properly, like very lean beef. Tough and inedibly gamey if not done properly. They are such ugly beasts that you're doing them a favour by eating them. :-)

We had a cat who was crazy about moose meat. He would grab pieces off the dinner table, then run behind the stove to eat them. For some reason he growled at moose meat. Grrr...grrr...crunch...crunch...

From another thread:

On a lighter note, I never got involved in the "collective noun" discussion but seeing the photos of this line up, I immediately thought not of a herd nor a horde, but a smorgasb(h)ord(e) or a "delicatessen" if you will. Mararmeisto?

I think this would be an appropriate term to describe the buyer: one goes to a Delicorium to view the selection, seeing a veritable smorgasbhorde from which to choose.

:-D As usual my self-perceived brilliance goes unrecognized. I was suggesting "delicatessen" as the collective noun....I'm so misunderstood!

Usually found on BC's Southern Gulf Island, Delicus canabis is a laid-back variant of Mitsubishi's StarWagon collection of L300 vehicles. Generally seen with curtains drawn and thick white smoke lazily drifting out of the slightly opened windows, D. canabis is known for its voracious appetite... (giggle, giggle, giggle)
