Okay, I scoped out the venue. There are two car parks, one off the main road, it's big, it's noisy and when I was there today it had many cars in it. The other car park is a small, somewhat sheltered by trees, today it was practically empty. The entrance is at the 1st Street & 4th Avenue junction. The playgrounds are near by, with the picnic shelters. I talked with Delicat on the phone, apparently the current weather forecast for Saturday (the 28th) is for rain (13C) but Sunday's forecast is sunny (16C).
Should we move the date back one day? Another point to consider is I am not sure how accurate the weather forecast is these days... if ever, really? 11:00 Either way.

I think that changing the date on such short notice would cause too much confusion. Others, like myself, may have scheduled around the meet as well (I will be in Victoria Sunday).

I think the request by a previous poster should still be answered: put the date and time in the title of the thread.

x2 it's Saturday or none. Spoke with others, same thing. Most have Sat penciled in for this meet/BBQ so let's leave it.

It would better for the TardisDeli crew if it were Sunday especially if the weather promises to be nicer that day.

Right, it's written in stone Saturday it is. When I talked to the guy there he said that they have a steel bin for us to dispose of any hot embers there may be (briquettes)

yes jesse, same ride , with just a few more dent (one on the back door and front bumper crooked) and a lot more rust .I also switch to 16 inche steel rims . stories to be told on saturday!!! :)

Have you guys decided who brings the BBQ's and what to do with food/beverages?
We can all pitch in of bring our own.
If everyone pitches in, I'm willing to do a small raffle and the prize is a L300 or L400 lift kit.
