That looks like the snobby French bastard from the Formula 1 circuit (spit on the ground) in that documentary about NASCAR racing... what was it called? "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby".

I think that is the stomping grounds of
"VAN-KAM" shipping. I used them before and was
Happy with their price. That was 10 years ago though.
Right On!

This would have been a great power plant

But the chev engine is also a good cheap choice too

4bt would have shaken the L300 apart and is a really tall engine...

What transmission?
I assume a chev automatic? 3 speed or 4 speed?
you might want to post on BC 4x4 under chev section

A&B Transmission on Fraser hwy off bypass in Langley.
My friend (shop) has been using them for transmission work for years. Dozens of customer vehicles. Not one bad experience (knock on wood). They do custom rods, haulers and full size motor homes. Versatile trans shop.

Stretch is officially engine-less. Her engine has gone into my other Delica. (Which will soon be for sale) So what that means is I have an parts engine for sale. Head and block are toast but all the other bits are still there. Best offer takes it. I also have a transmission for sale. 133K on it.
Solid axle in rebuild
Engine (350) in rebuild
transmission in rebuild
so soon I hope all can be mated up.
