L300 Stretch updates

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Stretch is looking sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!! Hats off to an amazing job so far.

So that is why you questioned, "And to whom have I been speaking to"

With the earlier suggestions of a gull-wing door and your background in aviation that is why I guessed the air-stair type door.

Now that we are all jaw dropped by the exterior of Stretch. My curiosity is now wondering what the hell do you have in mind to blow us away with the interior. How will Stretch be set-up for your world tour?

This is my suggestion for your theme song.

Love the line:

"Well my rig's a little old,
But that don't mean she's slow.
There's a flame from her stack,
And the smoke's rolling black as coal."

It looks even better up close! I can't wait to see the finished product. You can really tell that a ton of work has gone into that. Good luck with the rest of your build, I hope it goes a little more smoothly now...

good guess, but the idea actually came from a fellow Delica member

Ask, Nick, I gave him a bit of an idea when he was out.

This is my suggestion for your theme song.

Are there going to be struts for the lower portion of the clamshell? You know, to replace what looks like a dust bin holding it up.

Dust bin or struts, it's frakkin' sweet just the same!

The upper door will have struts and the lower will be held by a cable, I won't install the cable until the step is made and I know how long the cable needs to be.

The pics are awesome! You are spoiling us....don't stop. Theme song ideas....I've always been crazy - Waylon Jennings....Bad Reputation - Los Straight Jackets version....Or perhaps....Mama don't let you babies grow up to be giant white tandem super delicas - A little known reworked version by Willy Nelson...
You've never heard of the Delinnium Falcon? It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs...
