This is how these particular ones are meant to sit. Face up they are supposed to hold 100lbs. I'm planning to play cards on the coffee table style one so that will definitely be fine. The other is upside down and I was going to put a coleman stove on it but if I were to do that I would probably need to get some legs. If not it will be fine for cups, plates etc. I'll see how things go.

The amp cover is complete (I no longer have to close all my curtains to hide my amp and subs)

I also installed headlight protectors.

Tonight I managed to get my capacitor mounted, confirm a location for my oil catch can and spent most of the evening helping my friends build a bed for their truck which they're taking on a 3 month road-trip starting in around a week if all goes well.

Today I installed legs for my sliding table using shower curtain rods. I removed the rubber end on one end of each rod and used a long plastic washer as a knob to hold the legs in place. I will be creating some bookshelves on the outer sides of the subs soon as well. Other than that, I think the following pictures are fairly self explanatory.

Some more pics of what has been done recently. I used Automotive goop to try to secure my door mounted armrests. The result was decent, they will be replaced in the future anyways.

Among other things, I did some rattle proofing so that when my subs hit a bass note you don't hear rattling from everywhere.

This is how these particular ones are meant to sit. Face up they are supposed to hold 100lbs.

Not quite. The slides can be loaded from above (like, flip that shelf over) but not upside down like this. You can easily separate the inner track from the bearing cassette. Also its a pretty bad idea in general to put the lubricated slide tracks facing up where they can pick up all the dust.

If you don't believe me consider that I spent over 1500$ on slides last year, and god knows how many hours perusing specialized application slide catalogs. And I built this.

I do have some slides that would not separate in that application but they are tremendously hefty; like 200lb load capacity and up. With those, the inner and outer tracks do not separate at all.

If you have a little clearance below this shelf in the cabinet I think that I can give you some pieces of maple to provide support for those slides the right way around. Literally two lengths of hardwood and two spacers and that would do the job. My scraps may have all been milled down for trim; can check for you.

I know what you're saying which is why I said they are rated for that much "face up" I don't plan on putting much weight on them face down and I have added the legs as an extra precaution. It's definitely enough to hold a coleman stove (which is what it's intended for). I'm not sure what you mean about the sliders but if you're suggesting what I think you are then I don't have the clearance. I've thought of many ways to design this so the sliders would work the correct way but if I have sliders on either side they won't support the weight of someone sitting on them, if I build a box for the slider to sit in then I don't have enough head room while sitting on the couch. It must also be said that the way the sliders are screwed in means that if you put weight at the front the rear pushes up on the tracks (in the correct manner, much like a cantelevered beam) meaning that if I attach the legs such that they are not pushing up on the front but rather stopping the front from bending down there will be minimal downwards force on the tracks themselves (also assuming the stove is placed near the front).

The door handle does look like a bit of a hack job. It will be a bit better when it's expanded (I took the picture immediately after having unclamped them) but I don't care since I plan on re-doing the door trim when I upholster my seats in leather (after returning from my trip)
