Paul, how metal elements in your catch can do the job of paper filter? Have you noticed performance improvement? How often do you drain oil from the can?

Thanks,

I've installed a Provent 200 catch can on my Strada.Truly effective. Not a lot of oil, enough to wipe with a rag once a month. The rest of oil is trapped into the little filter inside of the Provent. But there is a bit more water coming from the condensation of cold air
entering the engine thru the intercooler at low outdoor temperature.Mostly,it's a litlle piece of ice that i remove.

I wanted the systeme to be closed, not open to air and I do not want to return this crap in the oil pan so I plugged the small drain tube and clean the Provent once a month.
