I typed 1.25 instead of 1.5 by accident for the thread pitch on the lug nuts. I edited my post to reflect that and shot a thanks to you for pointing it out.

As for Canadian Tire, it will depend on who you get at the parts counter.

Mitsubishi Montero has been imported into North America since 1982.

I've been at Canadian Tire, Lordco, NAPA, Wakefield, SportTrucks among other suppliers and they all pull up both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Montero's on their systems. Some can only source parts from 1993 onwards so it will depend on who/where you request the information from.

I was at Crappy tire in Langley last week and they were able to pull up 1994 Montero.

No problem, but very important to post correct information and to proof read your posts. Some people really rely on the replies generated from these posts.

That's a very long list... if you look back in the forum for the past 3 years or so you'll get a better idea, but I'm not going to list it all for you here.
I should also mention, that physically doing work on a vehicle is completely unrelated to finding parts for it anyway.

What part did you call Canadian Tire for? I want to call and see for myself.

I didn't call them at all, I went in, and chatted with the guy at the parts counter, at the time I was asking about brake callipers, but I believe we discussed some other parts as well (can't remember which ones) I didn't however end up buying anything because a) they didn't have them in stock and would have had to bring it in from BC and b) my importer took care of it and shipped the parts from BC instead.

Yes, they can also pull up every single part in their system... GM, FORD, TOYOTA... OEM dealer part. They dont stock it, but will gladly order it in and charge you a nice premium. EX: I asked for quote on a suzuki carry spark plug. They quoted me $7 each because they had to bring it in from Burnaby Lordco. The price at Lordo was under $3. Yes CT will order for you, but it is not the best option.

I gotta go out now. I think the lesson learned here is to never trust anything on the internet. The information found is a good STARTING point but never put too much faith in it. You will always have to do your own research to verify the information you found was correct. Always check a second source. EX 1: 12x1.5 lug, not 12x1.25... EX 2: Canadian Tire has parts

I have stock Pajero/Montero Rims.. They have a flat contact point, so no taper. I went to lordco and crappy tire. I didnt tell them I had a JDM, just Montero.. that usually confuses the staff more than anything...

And yeah, as far as fuel delivery goes, my next item to replace is the fuel filter, its the only thing that Im not 100% was replaced when it landed. Thanks.

I believe the style of lug you are looking for is called a "FLANGE NUT". So find a 12x1.5 thread in FLANGE nut and you're set!

And its basically flat where it makes contact? Alright, I'll look out for a 15x1.5 Flange locking nuts at Lordco :) Thanks!!

Also, just as a warning to others when installing and removing lugs - they're apparently very easy to over-torque and either strip, or break.. so don't over tighten, and avoid tightening them with an impact gun! (tip from Pocuk)

Vehicle application guide for Montero 1992-1998 4dr models list the acorn style as OEM.

This is the style for Montero 92-98 for locking wheel nut :

I installed a block heater a couple weeks ago, and now that Im in Kelowna away from home, I've used it a couple times, and it appears to be leaking a bit. The water level is fine, so hopefully it gets me home. Im just worried the heater is going to blow out and drop my coolant on the Coq.

Any advice? I dont have the things I need to drain the oil to get access to make sure its tight. Fingers crossed anyways.

/fail jfarsang: Delica/Pajaro/Montero lug nut is 12X 1.5 (not 1.25). One of the two most common lug-nut sizes on the market.
