I think I can beat Pedro with the longest drive, I'll be at about 6200km! 8-)

I'm in Osoyoos right now, took the Crow's nest on the way back and it was really worth it. Stopped for some refreshing warm bath at Ainsworth Hot Spring and the drive on the Kootenay lake alone is worth the drive!

So see you all this weekend!

Hi again, decision time!

For this weekend we came up with Jones Lake also called Wahleach Lake, between Chilliwack and Hope off Hwy 1, exit 153.
Here's a BC Hydro link giving more information:
http://www.bchydro.com/community/recrea ... _lake.html#

The time and meeting places suggested by Christine in the initial post still hold so we'll see most of you Saturday morning at 9am or so.

Pedro, you can join us at the Shell gas station off Lickman exit West of Chilliwack but if you want to save yourself time and fuel you can also wait for us at exit 153, we'll be in touch via cell or VHF.

Cheers!
David

This is a very strange choice, I would never go there for camping but I will join the club if this is the only option. Be prepared for playing in mud under the rain!

To remain loyal to our old habits we're changing our final plans and will go with Profister's suggestion at Nahatlach.
re. http://www.delica.ca/forum/profister-s- ... -3900.html

I've contacted Tardis, Pedro, Falco and Jaz; they're all fine. I'll contact Fexlboi tonight after work in case he doesn't read this last part...

And Pedro is coming with his shaggy wagon... no bike.

So, 9am IKEA in Coq. from where we'll head to the Blue Moon Cafe in Hope (in front of City Hall on the main street) and finally meet up with Pedro in Boston Bar between 11am and noon. The rest on the weekend, well, gotta join us to find out!

Thanks again,
David

C'mon. You really think I don't watch this thread with my eagle eyes
Every location is fine with us, as long as we leave the city boundaries :)

Glad everyone can make it. Finally all the organizing is solved, thanks to Delicat organizing. Nahatlach sounds good, and is an area we have been wanting to visit.

Jay and I are camping tonight near Hope, will meet the group tomorrow at Hope coffee shop. So please contact Delicat if anything is needed as we will be offline after 5:30pm.

Toni I baked a special batch of gluten free cookies just for you, everyone else gets the wheatflour raisin chocolate cookies (which Jay just stole a heap of).

Cheers, Christine.

Great! I have some ideas for a 'to do' list and will share them with you tomorrow. If anybody wants to join us on the campground here are the directions and the best spot for group camping is the 29.5-km campmsite (hopefully nobody is there for the weekend):
http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explor ... ahatlatch/
Please be advised that recently they zeroed the road about 8 km further.
The weather looks a bit wet for the weekend (light rain, close to 1mm) but usually it comes and goes and when it is raining in Boston Bar it is dry along the Nahatlatch River.
Meeting place in Hope is easy to find:
http://www.bluemoosecafe.com/location.php
NB. We will need dry firewood, please do not forget to bring plenty of it with you.
See you all!
Sergiy

Hey guys, Nat & I had a great weekend - good driving, great scenery and a really nice camping spot, plus 6 nationalities in attendance ensued hilarity...

Pics up soon, including Mitsushi up a rock, Mitsushi cocking a tire, Mitsushi up a bank, and maybe some scenery pics...

Let's start warming up the audience. This was Delicat's benefit performance, so let it be!
