Tires were mounted today, and they look really good! Cool in fact.
Plenty of clearance too.

ya i got them on with the usual hammering and a little grinding. i also had to cut these little rods in the front of the wheel wells that hold a forward mudflap out of the way. oh yeah, and i took off what was left of the front steps.
photos monday. i am going to the big time out!

Looks like you don't have too much offset, wonder if it helps you with the clearance at the front not to have the wheels sticking out too much? Your 31" also look smaller than some I've seen, wonder if it's just a brand thing? Can you open your sliding door without issues? Nice rubber though!

i seem to have good clearance all around, and no problem whatsoever with the sliderdelicat wrote:Looks like you don't have too much offset, wonder if it helps you with the clearance at the front not to have the wheels sticking out too much? Your offset looks like 4.25" which is standard for Toyo's.
Keep an eye on the inside section of your tires.
Before I put on my lift, I had the 31's on a test fit.
My buddy looked underneath and asked why there was a huge gouge running along the length of my front tires.
Apparently, I cut into the rubber heavily when braking going around corners.
Even after the lift, I still had to trim away.
Hopefully, yours doesn't have the same 'lack of space' mine had in the wheel wells.
They look good. I always liked Wranglers. You do get what you pay for. Great rubber.
On another note, as many Delica's as I've seen, I still can't get over the aggressive look the metallic black/silver Delica's have from the front compared to other color schemes.
