Temp Gauge Question

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

so my gauge isn't working anymore. :(

where is the temperature probe on the L300?
is it on top of the engine close to the front of the valve cover?
i've checked the wiring there, and everything seems connected.
dennis and i swapped out my sensor with his, and there was no change.

i am concerned because i drive a steep hill almost every day and the needle doesn't move at all. :-( :?

as far as i know the temp sensor is on the head beside the valve cover like you described, If i were you i would use a multi meter and meter out the sensor, check for resistance, if its open, bad sensor, assuming its a resistance type sensor. Just don't ask me what ohmage is the correct ohmage. :-D
