L400 engine mileage

The engine may be fine, but I found with one of our pajeros that everything else was falling apart at only 200k. switches, turn signal lever, almost all the window regulators have failed, dash bulbs, ABS, some electrical issues, rattles and creaks, squeaky seat springs to track down and the list goes on. Its never even been offroad.
The diesel SWB has been driven hard and put away wet with around 220k and I have had zero issues except worn suspension parts and a leaky IP. And it has been wheeled hard.
Needless to say, after just changing the timing belt due to a leaky water pump and buying the wife a new Honda, the 4dr gasser has got to go!
