Van Suddenly Won't Start...please advise.

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

I would be looking at the frayed wires you mentioned by the battery, the the ground, then the fuses. If your batteries are good and won't start with a boost, I would place bets that you get to replace the starter, not too bad to do and delicas are WAY easier to do than a first generation tundra....ask me how I know.
